As principal of Arcadea Architecture and now also with Coburn Architecture and Coburn Development, we’ve used Chris and SRC to do Matterport scans and point cloud to Revit conversions on multiple projects. Some of them were extremely challenging. Chris has been able to turn these around for us in days, rather than weeks, and we could hardly be happier with the results. The Revit files do still require some minor clean-ups, but they are exceptional for the cost. We’ve literally saved our clients many thousands of dollars by using this technology, by comparison with how we did it before. The ability to virtually walk through the Matterport is also invaluable in recording and locating important items like lights and mechanical grilles and we can reference this information from our desks, rather than having to travel back to a jobsite numerous times.
